You're reading: Azarov instructed to inform students on talks on EU integration

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has ordered Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov to ensure the permanent and quick informing of students on the goal, stages and problematic issues of the country's integration to the European Union (EU).

The order was given after a meeting of Yanukovych with students on Friday, December 13 and published on the official Web site of the head of state on Saturday.

“The premier is ordered to ensure systematic, quick and full informing of society, in particular, students, on the goal, contents, stages and problematic issues of Ukraine’s integration to the EU and the pace of holding the negotiations between Ukraine and the EU,” the press services of the president reported.

In addition, Azarov is instructed to attract representatives of youth, first of all students’ nongovernmental organizations, to the preparation of proposals on the provision of the formation and realization of the internal and external policies of the state via consultations, roundtables and discussions of social and political development.
