U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden has welcomed the release of Ukrainian MP Nadia Savchenko, who was illegally imprisoned in Russia.
“Nadiya Savchenko’s unjust imprisonment has ended. Welcome home, Nadiya. Your strength is an example to the Ukrainian people, and the world,” Biden wrote on Twitter.
