Kyiv's Boryspil International Airport on July 1, 2012, on the day of the final match of the Euro 2012 European football championship in Kyiv, serviced 39,317 passengers, breaking its daily servicing record, reads a report of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine issued on July 2, 2012.

The previous record was registered on July 30, 2011 – 34,762 passengers.

The report also says that on July 1, 2012, the airport serviced 630 flights – 358 arrivals and 272 departures.

The report says that the flights on July 1, 2012 were serviced in line with the daily flight scheduled, without errors.

Boryspil International Airport occupies a site of about 1,000 hectares. It has two runways: one 4,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, and another 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide. The airport has four passenger terminals and a mail and cargo complex.
