You're reading: Cabinet ups cost of reconstruction of Olympiysky sports complex by Hr 107 million

The Cabinet of Ministers has altered a project for the reconstruction of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities at the Olympiysky national sports complex at 55 Chervonoarmiyska Street in Kyiv, increasing the total estimated cost by Hr 106.896 million, to Hr 4.697 billion.

According to government decree No. 816 of August 22, 2012, which was
posted on the Web site of the government on Wednesday, in particular,
the value of construction and assembly work was increased by Hr 52.725
million, to Hr 2.395 billion, and that of equipment by Hr 33.656
million, to Hr 999.963 million.

However, the main figures of the stadium remained unchanged: the area
of construction – 75,326 square meters, and the number of seats –
68,055.

As of April 1, 2012 some 95.9% of the total estimated cost or Hr
4.505 billion had been spent, while as of January 1 the figure was Hr
4.468 billion.

This option for the altered project was drawn up by ISK Transexpo
(Kyiv), whereas the previous option worth Hr 4.590 billion approved
under cabinet resolution No. 266 of March 28, 2012 was developed by GMP
von Gerkan, Marg und Parter Architekten (Germany).

ISK Transexpo was established in 1996 and works on the market for the integration of engineering solutions.
