Central Election Commission (CEC) has canceled the registration of presidential candidates lawmaker Oleh Tsariov (Party of Regions faction) and former social policy minister, Natalia Korolevska. This decision was made on the basis of the personal applications of the aforementioned candidates.
Thus, now 21 candidates participate in the elections, out of 23 that were initially registered.
According to the schedule, May 1 was the last day when the candidates could refuse of the participation in the president’s race.
Ukraine’s presidential elections are scheduled for May 25.
