You're reading: Central Election Commission redistributes spending on preparations for parliamentary elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has redistributed expenditures on preparations for and the holding of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that at a meeting on Saturday the
CEC decided to reduce spending on the payment of media services for
campaigning by Hr 1.375 million, to Hr 107.012 million.

The CEC also cut costs for the production of election documents by Hr 6.749 million, to Hr 71.798 million.

At the same time, the CEC increased spending on the production of
archival boxes and the purchase of seals for ballot boxes by Hr 1.342
million, to Hr 33.298 million, and spending on the payment of
communications services was raised by Hr 6.749 million, to Hr 11.443
million.

The CEC also increased expenditures on the production of stamps for
district election commissions and foreign electoral commissions of the
foreign constituency from Hr 45,500 to Hr 78,000.
