MINSK - Contact Group participants will focus on discussing political settlement issues at the first meeting in 2016 in Minsk on Jan. 13, a source in the group in charge of organizing the negotiations told Interfax on Jan. 11.

“The agenda envisages intensive discussions of the key aspects of political settlement. Issues relating to the realization of the special status of specific areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, decentralization of power and constitutional reform in Ukraine, and local elections in Donbas will be addressed,” the source said.

According to earlier reports, the Trilateral Contact Group will have meetings in Minsk on Jan. 13, 20 and 27.
