The Higher Specialized Court for Civil and Criminal Cases has adjourned until July 26 the hearing of an appeal by the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine against the ruling of the Court of Appeal to uphold the closing of a criminal case against Ukraine's second president, Leonid Kuchma, related to his suspected involvement in the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze.

The court decided to reschedule the session in order to fix organizational flaws, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
