Ukrainian Defense Ministry has reported that 48 items of weaponry and military equipment for radio-radar troops, particularly two pieces of anti-aircraft missile equipment, have been restored.

According to a statement released on June 2 by the ministry, this was made possible by involving maintenance detachments from radio-radar troops’ military bases.

The Ukrainian Air Force is working on making operational weapons and military equipment stored in the state-owned maintenance establishments of the Ukroboronprom State Concern. Since the beginning of the year four planes have been transferred to a Ukrainian Air Force military base.

A total of 68 aircraft, including Sukhoi Su-27, Su-24M, Su-25, Su-27UB, Mikoyan MiG-29 and Antonov An-26 ‘Shtabnoy’ (headquarters) aircraft were restored, thanks to the hard work of the personnel from aviation technical and maintenance military bases.
