You're reading: Defense Ministry reports eighty-six ATO fighters undergoing treatment in Ukraine, 28 abroad

Ukrainian hospitals and medical institutions currently provide treatment to 84 servicemen of Ukraine's Armed Forces and also two officers of other units, who were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone, Ukraine's Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksiy Chornobay has said.

“As of today, 86 servicemen undergo treatment; 28 more receive medical care abroad, 11 of them in Germany, seven in the United States, five in Hungary, three in Lithuania, one in Austria, and one in Poland,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

Chornobay also informed that 80 servicemen undergo rehabilitation in resort facilities. Overall, 1,943 ATO fighters received rehabilitation treatment in 2015.
