Six armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been seized by saboteurs in Kramatorsk, the Ukraine's Defense Ministry said.
“Today, on April 16, six armored vehicles of the Ukrainian armed
forces entered the town of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. They
were acting in accordance with the anti-terrorist operation plan. The
movement of the column was blocked in the town center by its residents,
including representatives from Russian subversive terrorist groups. As a
result of the blocking extremists seized the vehicles and the column
headed towards Sloviansk,” the ministry said on Wednesday.
Currently, the armored vehicles are parked not far from an
administrative building in the center of Sloviansk, the defense ministry
said. Standing beside them are armed individuals who have nothing to do
with the Ukrainian armed forces.
“Information about the Ukrainian troops’ whereabouts is being clarified,” the ministry said.
