Ukrainian forces during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) to liberate towns in the Donetsk region have seized from warehouses a large amount of arms intended for the militants, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported on Friday, July 11.

“During the liberation of the towns of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Artemivsk and other settlements, the ATO forces seized from hidden warehouses a large amount of captured weapons and military equipment, arms and ammunition, with which the militants of terrorist gangs were armed,” the ministry said.

In particular, the ATO forces seized four armored vehicles, three tanks, three Grad multiple rocket launchers and mortars, an IMR combat engineering vehicle, 31 MANPADS (man-portable air-defense systems), 26 anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), 101 small arms and nearly 300,000 rounds of ammunition for them, as well as 27 anti-tank and anti-personnel mines.
