First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin has said that the congressmen of the United States should be informed about the criminal cases against former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko.

“I sent an open letter to the senators of the United States Congress. The letter was sent directly by me to the United States. I think that the congressmen should be interested in receiving full and reliable information about the criminal cases against convict Tymoshenko,” the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine quoted Kuzmin on Wednesday.

He added that he has not received any documents from a London court regarding a lawsuit allegedly submitted by Tymoshenko’s defense team against him to protect the ex-premier’s dignity and honor.

“Personally I have not received any documents from the London court. However, I would like to stress once again that I am ready to attend court hearings personally,” Kuzmin said.
