Donetsk region authorities plan in the current year to finance 635 infrastructure projects worth Hr 3.6 billion, the head of the regional military and civil administration, Pavlo Zhebrivsky, has said.

According to the press service of the administration, Zhebrivsky, when considering the program of the socio-economic development of the region at a meeting of Donetsk Regional State Administration, noted that “no other region of Ukraine has such a large budget for infrastructure development.”

The official also stressed that one of the key tasks of the region development is education.

Zhebrivsky noted that from April 1 Donetsk region first among the regions would simultaneously with central authorities carry out purchases through the ProZorro e-procurement system.

“No services and trades will function without the ProZorro system. The local authorities will have the money saved. We will promptly approve other projects using the funds,” he said.
