You're reading: Eight Ukrainians injured in road accident in Russia’s Pskov region

PSKOV – Eight Ukrainian citizens were injured in a road accident when a minibus overturned in the Pskov region of Russia, the press service of the regional department of the State Inspectorate for Road Safety reported on Monday, Sept. 10.

“On September 8, at 1745, on the Porkhov-Uspenye highway in Dedovichi
district, the 34-year-old driver of a Mercedes Sprinter was driving at
an unsafe speed on a turn, did not take into account road and weather
conditions, lost control of the vehicle, and overturned in a ditch,” the
department said.

Eight people, among them the driver and seven passengers, were
injured in the accident. All of the victims, citizens of Ukraine, were
hospitalized in Porkhov District Hospital.
