Elections to legislative bodies of Crimea will be held on a single voting day, September 14, and a relevant decree will be signed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. "I have also received your request for holding elections to the Crimean parliament and further elections for a governor. Relevant documents will be signed," Putin said along with Crimean Prime Minster Sergei Aksyonov.

Putin asked how ready Crimea was to have elections on a single voting day – September 14. “Crimea is ready,” Aksionov said.

Around 20,000 passports are issued to people daily and all necessary
parameters have been put in the budget, the prime minister said. “No
grounds for concern exist. The elections will be held in an orderly
fashion,” he said.

The coming elections in Crimea will be held on a professional level, Putin said.
