BRUSSELS – It is too early to talk about the outcome of the EU-Ukraine summit scheduled for December, European Commission's spokesman Peter Stano has said.

"I can say that the summit is to be held in December, and it is no use speculating what will and what won’t happen during this event," Stano told Interfax-Ukraine said in Brussels on Wednesday when asked whether the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union would be initialed, taking into account the recent developments in Ukraine, in particular, the Verkhovna Rada’s failure to decriminalize the article of the Criminal Code, which would have freed former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko from prison.

The European Commission’s spokesman said it was improper to speculate about the results of the summit, as some media are doing.
