Activists of the Ukrainian FEMEN movement staged a protest dubbed 'In Gay we trust!' in the center of Paris in support of a bill on same-sex marriage in France on 18 November.

The organization’s activists dressed as nuns attacked a Catholic
rally against the said bill, which was taking place in the center of the
French capital.

According to the Web site of the organization, FEMEN activists were
in turn attacked by religious nationalists during the ‘In Gay we trust!’
protest. The incident was stopped by the police and representatives of
the LGBT community of France.

“FEMEN strongly prohibits religious people to poke their noses into
matters such as family, marriage and sexual relations and demand that
they do not impose their medieval ideas in modern Europe,” reads the
statement posted on the Web site.
