You're reading: First Ukrainian Forum of EuroMaidans to be held in Kharkiv

Participants of the All-Ukrainian conference held on December 27 in Kyiv decided to hold the First All-Ukrainian Forum of Euromaidans in Kharkiv on January 11-12, 2014. 

It is planned to draw up an action plan on the establishment of ‘responsible
democracy’ in Ukraine, create mechanisms for coordinating actions and links
between Euromaidans, discuss safety and legal production issues, supply of
materials to Euromaidans, intellectual and artistic cooperation and coordination
of the information policy of Euromaidans in various regions.

The number of delegate from one Euromaidan cannot exceed three persons. Kyiv
will be presented at the forum by delegates from nongovernmental sectors of the
Kyiv’s Euromaidan no more of three persons from each sector. The conference
recommends local Euromaidans not to appoint delegates-members of parliamentary
parties.

Representatives of Euromaidans said that they are ready to cooperation with
the Maidan All-Ukrainian association and their initiative does not aim the split
in the Euromaidan movement. Representatives of regional Euromaidans are members
of the Maidan association’s structures created in the regions.

A total of 34 representatives of 14 Euromaidans and three nongovernmental
sections of the Kyiv’s Euromaidan took part in the All-Ukrainian conference of
Euromaidans.
