The text of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU cannot be made public until the document is signed, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has said.
"There is standard practice, according to which the text of an agreement is not made public before its signing," Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said at a briefing in Kyiv on April 2.
He added that Kyiv cannot violate this practice, although raising people’s awareness about the contents of the document would be useful, the deputy minister said.
As reported, Ukraine and the EU initialed the text Association Agreement in Brussels on March 30.
