You're reading: Front for Change members denied registration

The Front for Change party claims there have been violations of election legislation by election commissions across the country, which denied registration or canceled the registration of representative of the Front for Change party, Party Leader Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.

Yatseniuk announced this during the meeting with the residents of the town of Krasnoarmiysk, Donetsk region, where the party’s office was attacked on Saturday, the party’s press service reported on Monday.

"The pre-election news has turned into criminal reports. People are being threatened; the documents at election districts and in election commissions are being crudely forged. They are fighting against the Front for Change across the country," Yatseniuk said.

He stressed that Donetsk region is a typical example of how the election campaign is being intervened by criminal circles.

"We are being removed from registration at majority constituencies, people are being forced to withdraw from the lists, doctors and teachers – all the people who work in the public sector are being pressed on in order to deprive them of their right to be nominated from the Front for Change party," the politician said.
