Naftogaz Ukrainy owes Russia's Gazprom $1.45 billion for gas supplied in 2013 and $0.19 billion for gas supplied this year, Gazprom said in a Eurobond prospectus, seen by Interfax.

According to the prospectus, the Ukrainian company in the period
January 25-February 15 paid $1.3 billion for gas supplied in 2013 and
$0.47 billion for gas supplied this year.

Naftogaz has asked Gazprom to let it have until April 15 to pay the
debt and the Russian company is considering this, the prospectus says.

It says that as of the end of September 2013, Gazprom had paid Ukraine advances of 133.071 billion rubles for gas transit.

It also says Gazprom supplied 18.2 billion cubic meters of gas to
Naftogaz in January-September 2013, down from 24.6 billion cubic meters,
in the same period of 2012. Gazprom recalled that it served Naftogaz
with claims for taking less gas than contracts stipulated in 2012, but
no mention is made of any claims for 2013.
