The priority items in the draft national budget for 2017 will spending on the security and defense sector, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has stated.

“I would like to say about the priorities that we jointly with the colleagues define in the budget structure. The first priority is the defense and security of our country,” Groysman said at a government meeting in Kyiv.

“The issue of financing security and defense is within the limits of 5% of GDP – this is number one priority,” the premier added.
