Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Gunther Oettinger have discussed the issue of Ukraine's participation in information support of the European Union, spokesman for the Prime Minister Dmytro Stoliarchuk has said.

“Ukraine is able to become a hub of information support of Europe – a meeting of the Prime Minister with the European Commissioner for Digital Economy,” he wrote on his Twitter page.

As reported, Oettinger during his visit to Ukraine on July 25-26 intends to discuss the issues of cooperation between the EU and Ukraine in the field of digital economy and digital society. He will meet with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv, chairman of the parliamentary committee on information and communications Oleksandr Danchenko.
