Four gunmen on May 7 abducted the manager of one of the stores in Luhansk, eastern Ukraine, the local police authority said. "The duty unit has just received a report that four unidentified individuals armed with assault rifles, dressed in camouflage and wearing masks went into the Tornado store on Zoya Kosmodemianska Street in Luhansk, led the manager outside, and drove him away in an unclear direction," the authority said in a statement.

It said detectives had gone to the store.

The authority said it had received a separate report that two masked men armed with assault rifles and wearing camouflage stole a truck parked outside an office on another street in the city, and that another team of detectives had gone to the site of the event.
