Ivano-Frankivsk region has allocated Hr 3 million to buy body armor (bulletproof vests), according to a joint decree by Ivano-Frankivsk governor Andriy Trotsenko and chairman of the regional council Vasyl Skrypnychuk.
A total of Hr 2.538 million of the allocated funds were transferred
to regional military registration and enlistment office to buy 423
bulletproof vests for territorial defense battalion of the region, and Hr 372,000 – to military base No. 1241 to buy 62 vests.
According to the decree, Hr 42,000 more were allocated to the
emergency situation directorate of Ivano-Frankivsk regional state
administration to buy seven bulletproof vests for Ternopil area-based
department of military law and order service of Defense Ministry.
The money was taken from a regional specialized fund created by Ivano-Frankivsk regional council for mobilization needs.
