Ukrainian ombudsman Nina Karpachova has confirmed that former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko had injuries on her body.
"Today I decided to check the situation by myself. I am in the administrative building of the Kachanivska colony right now. I am confirming every word I’ve said in my interview. The ombudsman’s representative, Serhiy Kudruk, absolutely correctly confirmed the injuries I’ve seen today by myself. They are on the right side of the stomach and on the arm, shoulder and elbow," the ombudsman said on April 25.
"Tymoshenko personally told me every detail of that incident. They are terrible, these details, as the European Convention was violated and all of our law that regulate the system’s activities [were broken]," Karpachova said.
