Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has set a task to implement most of the national action plan for the liberalization of visa regime with the European Union this year, First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Kliuyev said.

Delays or poor performance of the plan will meet a tough response, he said at the first meeting of the coordinating center for the implementation of the action plan for liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukraine, the first vice premier’s press office reported.

Kliuyev said that a large number of tasks of the national plan should be implemented or at least brought at the final stage of their implementation by early June 2011.
