Ukrainian Vice Premier and Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov has said that all stadiums in Ukraine's host cities of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship are ready for tournament matches. He added that the state spent $780-800 million on the preparation of the stadiums in Kyiv and Lviv.

"There are practically no unfinished tasks. Today the staff of the stadium at the Olympiysky National Sports Complex and its whole personnel are ready for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship and other matches of the national football team, Kyiv FC Dynamo and events that will be held at the stadium after the Euro 2012," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Kolesnikov also noted that the Arena-Lviv stadium is also completely ready for the championship.

Thanks to funding from the national budget, Kharkiv city budget and private investments of businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, all work has been finished at Kharkiv-based Metalist stadium.

In particular, problems pointed out by UEFA connected with the evacuation of supporters in emergencies have been resolved.

The vice premier said the average cost of a seat in Ukrainian stadiums is in line with European and international standards.
