Russia has no plans to build a nuclear power plant in Crimea, Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak told the Federation Council.

Kozak said mobile power generators used in Sochi during the Olympics have been moved to Crimea.

“They are being installed now and they will be being operated so as
to exclude the risk of any interruption of power supply to Crimea. The
government has no plans to build a nuclear power plant in the region,
Kozak said.
