At its meeting in Minsk on May 18, the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas discussed the implementation of the obligations undertaken by the self-proclaimed Donbas republics to leave Debaltseve and several other areas, a Ukrainian representative said.
“At its today’s meeting the Trilateral Contact Group talked of the implementation by representatives of the separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of the obligations they assumed under the protocol of September 19, 2014, to leave all of the areas, including Debaltseve, which had been seized in spite of these agreements,” Darka Olifer, a spokeswoman for Leonid Kuchma, Ukraine’s representative in the Group, wrote on Facebook after the meeting.
