Kyiv City Council has allocated land for the reconstruction of Hostyny Dvir. 

Some 75 of the 107 registered councilors voted for the decision at a meeting of Kyiv City Council on Thursday. The BYT faction, the UDAR Party and some councilors of the People’s Party faction did not support the decision.

Under the decision, a land plot of 1.02 hectares at 4 Kontraktova Square in Podilsky district in Kyiv has been leased to PJSC Ukrrestavratsiya for five years for the reconstruction of the building as a trade and office center with landscaping and a parking lot.

The pecuniary valuation of the land plot was UAH 81.2 million. The rent rate is set at UAH 9.5 million per year.

According to an explanatory note, the site is located within the architectural protected area of the Starodavniy Kyiv state historical-architectural reserve and the Kontraktova Ploscha architectural reserve in Podil.

Hostyny Dvir is a shopping complex in Kontraktova Square in Kyiv, built in the classical style according to a design by Italian architect Luigi Rusca in 1809.
