Private joint-stock company January 1918 Revolt Kyiv electric locomotive repair plant saw Hr 5.714 million in net profit, while in 2011 its profit stood at Hr 440,000, reads a company report.

The report in the information disclosure system of the National
Commission for Securities and the Stock Market says that its net revenue
last year grew by 26.6%, to Hr 257.44 million.

Its gross profit was up by 28%, to Hr 41 million and operation
profit more than doubled the 2011 indicator, being Hr 8.5 million.

According to the document, last year the plant sold 77 repaired power
sections (92 sections in 2011), 569 wheal pairs and 598 electric
machines.

The core business of Kyiv electric locomotive repair plant, founded
in 1868 as workshops to repair steam locomotives and wagons, is overhaul
of electric trains for Ukrainian railways, repair of knots and units,
electric machines, electric engine and wheel pairs, and production of
spare parts.

In 2011, the plant saw Hr 203.32 million in net revenue, which was
1.4% up on 2010, while its net profit shrank by almost 37 times, to Hr
440,000.

The plant is a fully state-owned company.
