LUHANSK - A prisoner exchange between Russian-separatist forces in Luhansk Oblast and the Ukrainian military is scheduled for Feb. 25, said Olga Kobsteva, head of the Luahnsk People's Republic working subgroup for prisoner exchange.
“The exchange [of prisoners-of-war] will be held on February 25,” she told reporters on Feb. 22.
“The place, date and time [of the swap] were agreed upon in Minsk with Viktor Medvedchuk, Ukraine’s representative in the working subgroup for humanitarian issues,” she said.
Earlier the Luhansk People’s Republic authorities proposed a prisoner exchange with Kyiv under a four-for-eight formula.
