Kyiv subway will not be able to work round the clock during the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, but will try to shorten a break in its work, head of Kyiv Metropolitan municipal enterprise Volodymyr Fedorenko reported.

According to Fedorenko, he has already submitted his proposals to Kyiv City State Administration, which previously asked to consider whether the city subway will be able to work around the clock during the championship. The opening hours of Kyiv metro will be probably prolonged, when Kyiv will host the matches, he said.

At the same time, Kyiv City State Administration will approve the schedule of the work of the city metro on the days of football matches, Fedorenko added.
