You're reading: Kyiv to auction off right to lease Besarabskyi market premises Feb. 17

The Kyiv city state administration has decided to auction off the right to lease the premises at the Besarabskyi market for establishment a food store in them on Feb. 17, the city state administration said.

The premise with the total area of 601.5 square meters including the first floor of 323.6 square meters, cellar of 277.9 square meters is located at 2 Besarabska Square.

The starting price of the lot is UAH 800,000 and the bid increment is UAH 50,000.

The rentals for the first-floor premises should be UAH 100 per square meter monthly and for the cellar premises UAH 50 per square meter monthly.

The lease period is five years.

The designated purpose of the store is the sale of at least 20 names of foodstuffs with the markup of not over 5-10%.

The auction will be held by the Kyiv international stock market.

The auction will take place in the premise of the Besarabskyi market at 1:00 pm.

The bidders will be registered at 10:00 am – 12:50 pm.

To participate in the auction, willing individuals should submit their passports and ID codes; legal entities should provide the copies of the foundation documents, certificate of state registration, stamp and other documents.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in December 2008, Kyiv city mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi intended to boost auctioning off municipal property, land plots and the lease rights.

The administration intends to hold public hearings to define the name of the food store to be located in the premises of the Besarabskyi market.
