You're reading: Kyiv updates OSCE on exact location in Donbas of weapons subject to withdrawal

Ukraine's Defense Ministry officials informed the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM OSCE) on where the weapons and other military hardware subject to withdrawal under the Minsk agreements are exactly located in the Donbas territories beyond Kyiv's control.

“We established the places where weapons and military hardware that are subject to withdrawal under the Minsk agreements are stationed. The representatives of the Mission [SMM OSCE] have been informed about the presence of tanks, artillery systems of calibers above 100 mm (the self-propelled systems) and the 122-mm MRLS ‘Grad’ in locations near Luhansk, Staromyhailivka, Donetsk and Samoilove,” Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Main Intelligence Directorate says on its website.

According to the Ukrainian intelligence, the opposing side is currently undertaking a number of military measures. In particular, several units were put on the red alert; the defensive system is undergoing improvement; firing positions are undergoing enforcement and outfitting in the Slavyansk area; mobilization measures are underway, it says.
