The Ukrainian settlement was discussed, along with the escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh, in a telephone conversation between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

“The sides also shared the opinions on several topical issues of international agenda, including the task to coordinate the actions to promote the Ukrainian settlement on the basis of the implementation of the Minsk agreements through the Contact Group mechanism under the ‘Normandy Format’ control and with support of other members of the international community,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
