The humanitarian convoy sent by Russia to Ukraine will in no way reduce tensions in the region, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius has told reporters.

The most effective help Russia could give Ukraine would be for it to
remove all of its terrorist leaders [from the east], and stop the flows
of arms via its border – which still coming, the minister said as he
arrived in Brussels for an emergency meeting of European Union foreign
ministers on Friday.

Moreover, Linkevicius said that he had information that convoy of
military trucks had entered eastern Ukraine from Russia overnight.
