The Prosecutor General Office of Ukraine has said that among proofs suggesting that former prime ministers Yulia Tymoshenko and Pavlo Lazarenko organized the murder of lawmaker Yevhen Scherban there are evidences given by live witnesses.

“I think that I will not reveal the secret of investigation. There are evidences of witnesses, of course, live witnesses,” the head of the main department for investigating particularly important cases at the Prosecutor General’s Office Andriy Kurys said on the Shuster Live TV show on Friday night.

Kurys again said that investigators have collected enough proofs. The motive for committing crime was established.

“We have enough proofs that they had the motive and this is a conflict of business interests,” he said.

He assured that all proofs the investigators have will be available to defenders and their lawyers.

Kurys added that the information on suspicion about committing the crime by Tymoshenko will be the basis of the charging paper, which the Prosecutor General Office will send to court later.

As reported, Tymoshenko last week was notified of being suspected of having organized the crime.
