Former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko has said that Strong Ukraine Party leader Sergiy Tigipko is a promising politician and regrets that his party is teaming up with the Regions Party.
"I consider him to be a really clever and promising politician. It’s a pity that he is taking these steps. The only thing I can advise him now is not to go hunting in any case," Lutsenko told reporters on Thursday before the hearings of a criminal case against him.
Regions Party MP Yevhen Kushnariov sustained fatal gunshot wounds while hunting in Kharkiv region on January 16, 2007, and died on January 17.
