Wife of the ex-interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko, Iryna Lutsenko, has presented in Lviv gloves her husband made in Mena penal colony with the slogan 'Ukraine is in Your Hands' sewn on them.

“Now my husband I serving a term in prison, completely isolated from the world. He is deprived of the right to communicate with his lawyers, relatives and friends. But he has a job and a sewing machine. These gloves made by Lutsenko are a signal to all Ukrainians to take control over state in their hands, firmly clench their teeth and fight criminal regime that has dominated our land for two-and-a-half years. Imprisoned but unbowed, Lutsenko appeals to everybody: don’t keep silent, act, gain freedom for you and your children,” the press service of People’s Self-Defense Party quotes Iryna Lutsenko as saying on Monday.

She also called on everybody who supports opposition to come to the voting stations and vote for them.
