The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine will in June send a case to court on shootings on Independence Square in Kyiv by three employees of the Berkut riot police, Prosecutor General Oleh Makhnitsky said.

”Three employees of the Berkut riot police, who have already been
shown to be guilty, were arrested today, and the case is being prepared
for submission to court,” Makhnitsky said on Channel 5 on Friday night.

According to him, the investigation is coming to an end and the case will go to court in June.

“The investigators have established the organizers – starting from
[ex-president of Ukraine Viktor] Yanukovych, the presidential
administration, the Interior Ministry, and ending with the commanders of
relevant units and the law enforcers themselves,” Makhnitsky said.
