Four journalists were kidnapped in Sloviansk of Donetsk region for the last twenty-four hours.

“An hour ago separatists kidnapped two Italian journalists Paul Gogo and Kossimo Attanasio, and a Belarusian journalist of Novy Chas newspaper, Dmitry Galko, who carried filming in the town. Journalists were deprived of documents, money and photo equipment, [held captive] in some building. Information [received] from them,” journalist from Donetsk Denys Kazansky writes on Facebook.

Earlier Ukrainska Pravda online edition reported, referring to the eyewitnesses, about capture of journalist and Euromaidan activist Irma Krat.

As Krat told LifeNews TV channel, she came to Sloviansk as a journalist “to cover the events.'”

“I was arrested for allegedly being opposed to referendum. But these are conjectures. I came to Sloviansk to tell impartial truth,” she said.

Besides, according to Ukrainska Pravda, armed people still hold captive ex-worker of First National TV Channel, Ukrainian journalist Serhiy Lefter, who has been earlier taken prisoner in Sloviansk.
