U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is currently meeting with the leaders of the Ukrainian opposition, the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The meeting began at the House of Trade Unions at 1140. Apart from the leaders of the opposition parliamentary factions, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Vitali Klitschko and Oleh Tiahnybok, the meeting is also being attended by Petro Poroshenko and Yuriy Lutsenko.
Nuland is accompanied at the meeting by U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt. Before the meeting, she refused to answer questions from journalists.
