You're reading: Most protesters rallying outside Ukrainian parliament

A larger part of people protesting against the Ukrainian government's actions are rallying outside the building of the Verkhovna Rada, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported.

Only a small number of protesters remained outside the approaches to the building of the Cabinet of Ministers. In particular, the demonstrators are rallying outside the club of the Cabinet of Ministers, the National Bank of Ukraine, as well as near the approaches and the main entrance of the government building.

The protesters, apart from traditional slogans “Glory to Ukraine, Glory to Heroes,” “Down with the Gang” and “Government Should Resign,” are also chanting slogans “Rise Up Kyiv, Protect People.”

About 30 law enforcement officers went to the government building, and about 200 Berkut riot police officers moved to the building of the Verkhovna Rada.

The situation is currently calm, and there are no clashes between protesters and police officers.
