You're reading: Mukacheve and Rivne mayors to run for Rada as independent candidates

Lawmakers Volodymyr Kapliyenko and Volodymyr Stretovych, as well as Mayor of the city of Mukacheve Zoltan Lengyel and Mayor of the city of Rivne Volodymyr Khomko, are to run for Verkhovna Rada as self nominated candidates.

The Central Election Commission registered Kapliyenko as a member of
the United Left and Peasants Party in the majority constituency No. 63
in Zhytomyr region.

Stretovych, a member of the Christian Democratic Union Party, was
registered as a parliamentary candidate in the constituency No. 184 in
Kherson region.

Moreover, Mukacheve Mayor Zoltan Lengyel was registered as a
parliamentary candidate in the constituency No. 67 (Zakarpattia region).
He is a member of the Single Center Party but is standing for the Rada
as an independent candidate.

Mayor of Rivne Khomko is running as a non-party candidate in constituency No. 152 (Rivne region).
