BRUSSELS – NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Philip Breedlove said ceasefire still was noticed breaching in the east of Ukraine, though it doesn't mean a large-scale use of heavy weapons.

At the joint press point following the 174th Military Committee in Chiefs of Defence Session, he said that according to NATO observations, through last two weeks clashes along the contact line were occurring more often, a number of military men killed and injured still growing.

Though, the NATO Commander in Europe said that a good piece of news is that there was no large-scale exchange of fire of big caliber arms, just shell attacks with a use of small arms.
