The future head of the Health Ministry has to make tough decisions on Bohomolets National University, Children's Hospital Okhmatdyt and Indar insulin maker, former First Deputy Health Minister Oleksandra Pavlenko has said at a press conference.
“I want to draw attention to important issues with which I associate the effectiveness of any head of the Health Ministry. If the new minister fails to make strict radical decisions on Bohomolets University, Okhmatdyt and Indar, I believe that person is weak. Remember this message,” Pavlenko said.
She said her work as vice prime minister involved dealing with existing problems.
“A few days before resigning, I wrote a large personal memo for the vice prime minister about the situation at Indar plant. Unfortunately, I cannot now comment on the essence of the brief, because this document is classified “For Official Use Only.” But the deadline for making decision on it was on April 27. The decision has not been taken. It’s just one fact I lay on the table,” Pavlenko stressed.
