Flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia was reportedly shot down in a war-torn area of eastern Ukraine near the Russian border, killing all 295 people aboard. The Ukrainian president and the Pro-Russia rebels in that area denied involvement in causing the crash.
